Annalisa Armitage is a unique resource for sales-force training and development. Over 3 different careers Annalisa has obtained expert status in three separate fields that all relate back to sales-force training and development.

Annalisa’s career is based on sales management and training which was the core of her work from the beginning of her career. She lead highly successful sales teams from 1986 till 2001. Since 2001 she has trained people in process improvement (Lean and Six Sigma) and worked in major organizations improving their processes. In 2006 Annalisa has worked as an image consultant; creating “My Image Consultant” and turning it into one of the leading image consultancies in Australia.

Annalisa’s workshops motivate change in sales staff and the company’s bottom line, through giving them the knowledge, skill and aspiration to improve.

Annalisa started her sales management career in London at David Bailey and Associates in 1986 as the director of Sales. She was previously working in the telesales division when the general manager discovered her talents and promoted her. He was handsomely rewarded for his insight when Annalisa successfully initiated and managed a client servicing program that resulted in a three-fold increase in sales volume and an increase in persistency from 43% to 90%. Her career continued and flourished over following years at Irish Life and afterwards at GE life.

While working at GE Life her prodigious talents were again recognized and she was trained in the world renowned process improvement methodology called Six Sigma. Her hard work and dedication in this field paid off and she was soon training and coaching other people in this industry leading process improvement methodology. Her skills were highly sought after and she was before long heading up deployments back in Australia for huge corporates such as Telstra and Westpac. During this time in corporate Australia she was a sought after speaker on the Six Sigma circuit. Annalisa decided that the Six Sigma industry in Australia needed an organisation to bring the community together, and promptly put her skills to work creating the Australasian Association of Lean Six Sigma Practitioners (AASSP)  an organisation that is still running today more than 7 years after forming it. Her Six Sigma background has made her an expert at time and process management, and at running workshops, all skills that enhance her abilities at running and creating sales force training.

Just over four years ago in Oct 2006 Annalisa decided that working in corporate Australia was not enough of a challenge for her, so she decided to create her own business in the Personal Image Field, today, this foray into image consulting has resulted in her company being one of the leading Australian company’s in this industry, and Annalisa has been accredited by the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI) as a professional image consultant (CIP) one of only 130 in the world. This is one of the most important fields in sales force training, as first impressions in sales is a major part of the job.
